Dear Parents and Students,

It is my privilege to welcome you to the Sweet Springs R-VII 2023-2024 school year!  My name is Melanie Davis and I am honored to serve as Sweet Springs R-VII Elementary Principal.  I have been part of the Sweet Springs R-VII Administration team since August of 2012, and look forward to continuing our journey together.  On behalf of our faculty and staff, we welcome each of you to Sweet Springs Elementary School.  We strive to keep our students safe and help them learn and grow academically, behaviorally, emotionally, and socially.  We understand the important of partnerships in education to help our students achieve academically and socially.  We are committed to working with our parents and community to help our students be most successful.  Communication is key!  We encourage you to support your child in their educational journey by communicating the importance of responsibility, motivation, and expectations.  Our schoolwide expectations are to Be Safe, Be Respectful, and Be Responsible.  If you have questions or concerns, please contact me in the office at 660-335-6348 or by email at [email protected].  I look forward to serving our students, parents, staff, and school community this coming school year!
